It’s been a good year for … apples, amongst other fruit.

Two apples from different local trees on common ground that I’d not noticed before (so not scrumping, then 😀 ). The local community orchards are usually stripped before the fruit is ripe ☹️

The left apple is mild and the right one is sharp and a bit astringent.
