Images shows he was strangled to death. The nursing home, hospice, nor funeral home did anything, nor notify the coroner.

The patient called 911 several times leading up to his death.

A daughter documented strangulation marks around her fathers neck, both in days leading up to his death, before being transfer from the abusive nursing home to hospital, and at the funeral home.

The 138-bed nursing home, Forest Hills Healthcare Center, on Moran Road near the Clermont County line, had 83 complaints in the last three years that resulted in only one citation and maintained its above-average quality ratings from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

@benmac I'm surprised the hospice, funeral home, and coroner refused to take action on their own, as they are legally required to do, esp after the family begged and they failed to do so like they did, post Donald Harvey. I really hope there is consequences for it. There is a potential murderer at a nursing home still on the job abusing patients and has been since August 2025.

With that said, born and raised GenX just outside of the 275 loop, the Cincinnati region has a dark history of nursing home/rehab hospitals deaths.

It is the home of one of the most notorious 'Angel of Death' cases in the world, at the Cincinnati VA and the University of Cincinnati's Drake Center. Donald Harvey was convicted of around 40 murders, but linked to 50 Cincinnati care murders, suspected of 87

I have older relatives that were like "Don't put me in one of these nursing homes," including my father, because of it, just in the past few years.

It doesn't get much attention anymore, but we had The Cincinnati Strangler and growing up in the 70s and 80s, several national serial killers preyed around that prevented us from being allowed to go outside and play.
