🧵 So, more grumbling regarding #Windows11…

… it's simply not bearable. My wife is about to buy a used MacBook, since she doesn't want to use #Linux. And Windows 11 is also not an option for her, who is btw not a computer nerd.

It's crazy, because like some years ago, #Apple were the bad guys hindering people to use open source, and they still are… still trying to lock everybody in into their Apple universe. It's just that #Microsoft has become so much worse.

And Apple seems to know that people hate Windows 11, and the new #MacBookNeo addresses exactly this. Cheaper price point than usual, serviceable with a screw driver, very long battery life. MacOS.

As far as I a am concerned, even #Windows10 in #Virtualbox becomes enshittified with its very last updates, programs just stop working, most importantly #DanteController that just crashes… I am considering to run macOS in VirtualBox now. It feels quite sick.
