Mai ( @rouh ) is from Gaza and new on Mastodon. She doesn't know yet how to network. Consequently, she doesn't receive a lot of donations.

The thing is: She takes care of a camp of 30 children. While suffering from genocide herself! Truly heartwarming. She could really use our support.

The way to network on Mastodon is to FOLLOW her and share/BOOST her posts.
Unlike other social networks, Mastodon isn't controlled by a corporate algorithm, or any algorithm that would make her discoverable. It is up to us. But that also means we see only what we want to see. 🙂

I myself, to stay organized, use lists a lot. I have a list named "Gaza Verified" to which I add everybody from https://gaza-verified.org . In case your worries about an overwhelming timeline hinders you from following more people.
