But for more compatibility with the local #macos and #ios devices (and their users!) I'm also running a #samba server on a #raspberrypi. Remote access is not required here.

I'm trying to find a solution to have a well-maintained solution to sync Samba & LDAP. Univention Corporate Server (UCS) seems to be a good solution, and I'm giving it a go.
Does anyone know of a tutorial on how to get Samba running on Univention Corporate Server (UCS). It appears that the Samba server isn't installed on a default installation of UCS.
Alternatives to UCS are also welcome.
