Wasting a lot of time to try to modify background of a tab bar in SwiftUI with iOS 26 and Xcode 26.0.1without success and supposing an issue in the Apple API, I try with GenAI tools, here with GitHub Copilot and several LLM: GPT-5 mini, Gemini 2.5 Pro and Claude Sonnet 4.5.
They do not know iOS 26 exist. It was launched in September 15th with several betas earlier. We are October, 24th.
Do not trust GenAI nor LLM. And RTFM.
