Researching my next #Linux laptop and considering an M1 Macbook Air (16GB) for its great screen and built quality. How solid is #asahilinux running on that machine? Besides retina displays, I care a lot about smooth trackpad scrolling and solid support for multi-touch gestures. How are those working out in @AsahiLinux today? Opinions much appreciated!

Apple announced a kind of budget laptop, the Mac Book Neo, für €699. Is it worth to buy and replace the sh1teOS with Fedora Asahi Remix or would it be smarter to buy from another hardware vendor and have the full spectrum of linux distro possibilities?

Dopo la partnership tra Motorola e GrapheneOS, per Apple poteva essere l'occasione di stupirci con un 12" da 900g, magari in collaborazione con Asahi per renderlo più utile con Linux 😂
Invece praticamente un Air con un downgrade che incide soprattutto sulla memoria unificata, per ovviare al ramageddon in corso, e nemmeno la tastiera retroilluminata 🤦
