You try and help. You try and make things a little better in whatever small way you can. You think, “hey, maybe at least there will be some respite now… maybe things can start to get better” and, just as your foolish little brain starts to believe it, the fuckers who fuck everything up for everyone but themselves – and somehow are never held to account for any of it – go and fuck things up even further.
