Why FLOW Matters in Your Digital Life.

The Problem:
Most of the tech you use every day is controlled by corporations—closed, proprietary, and designed to lock you in. Think Facebook, iPhones, or Adobe software: you can’t see how they work, you can’t modify them, and you’re often the product, not the user.

FLOW isn’t just about code; it’s about reclaiming control, fostering creativity, and building digital commons—just as Alexander’s patterns were about creating spaces that empower people, not corporations.

The Solution:
Free, Libre, and Open Works (FLOW)—software, hardware, and content that anyone can use, study, modify, and share—offer a radical departure. These tools and communities are built on principles of transparency, collaboration, and user freedom, much like Christopher Alexander’s Pattern Language for architecture.
