@arnan This is pretty cool! I've just wrapped it all up for Docker so it's easy to run in my homelab.
No PRs accepted? I'm happy to share back.
@shawnhooper Thanks! Im not really a GitHub user. I’m only on there because everyone else seems to be - so it helps with discoverability.
But let me know if you run into trouble with gooseRSS and I’ll take a look at it.
@arnan I'm feeling the same way about GH. I'm a regular user for work, but am really thinking of moving all my personal stuff off to a self-hosted solution.
The problem is if you want to contribute to open source, GitHub is the place to be it seems.
@shawnhooper Yep, the world is way too reliant on things like GitHub, and clouds/services in general in recent years... Not a good move.
@arnan Agreed! I'm in the middle of moving a lot of my stuff onto a server at home. Less reliance on "the cloud", data sovereignty, and I get to learn new tech toys as I go.
@shawnhooper Oh I did that years ago for the important stuff 🤣
This is a forward thinking server running the Bonfire social media platform.
LGBTQA+ and BPOC friendly.
