I made the mistake of telling my M4 MacBook Pro to upgrade to the next Sequoia and the little bitch decided to go to Tahoe WITHOUT MY PERMISSION and now I have software that doesn't work (and I can't upgrade it bc it would be changing to a goddam subscription) and this stupid #LiquidGlass bullshit. Can anyone help me find the easiest way to revert to Sequoia? I have a recent backup, and I'm not the techiest person.

Update: After my terminal-fluent Mr and I futzed around with a partition solution, I ended up wiping the hard drive. Cue a panic attack when I couldn’t immediately recall the password on my backup drive…but we’re currently at about 20% files transferred and looking good! 🤞
