For the past fifteen months, the ‘Israeli’ aggression against Lebanon has continued with killings, destruction, and demolition, in all forms of criminality. All political and diplomatic efforts have failed to curb this aggression and compel it to implement the ceasefire agreement and its requirements.

We have repeatedly warned that aggression without a response cannot continue, and the operations of assassination and destruction cannot continue. What is required is to put an end to the aggression by all available means, with decisive and effective action.

The ongoing aggression cannot be justified by pretexts. Confrontation is a legitimate right, and what the Islamic Resistance has done is a response to the aggression, primarily for national considerations, and a right to bring security and stability to our people and our regions throughout Lebanon.

The response of the Islamic Resistance to a military outpost in the usurping entity is a defensive act, a legitimate right, and those concerned, interested, and responsible should work to stop the aggression as the direct cause of everything happening in Lebanon.

Hezbollah Officially Enters War Against US-Zionist Barbaric Aggression

Hezollah, the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon, announced that it launched a salvo of missiles and a swarm of drones at the Mishmar HaCarmel air defense site south of Haifa late Sunday into early Monday, stressing that the operation was in retaliation for the assassination of Iranian Leader Sayyed Ali Khamenei and in response to ongoing zionist attacks on Lebanon. This action offiicially marks their inclusion into the war against US-Zionist gencodical arrogance. Below we publish their communqiue.

In revenge for the pure blood of the leader of the Muslims, His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Imam Sayyid Ali al-Husayni Khamenei, may his sacred soul be protected, who was unjustly and treacherously shed by the criminal Zionist enemy, and in defense of Lebanon and its people, and within the framework of responding to repeated Israeli aggressions, the Islamic Resistance targeted, in the middle of the night between Sunday and Monday, 2 March 2026, a salvo of precision missiles and a squadron of drones at the Mishmar HaCarmel missile defense site of the Israeli enemy army south of the occupied city of Haifa.

The leadership of the Resistance has always affirmed that the continuation of Israeli attacks and the assassination of our leaders, youth, and people gives us the right to defend and respond at the appropriate time and place.

The Israeli enemy cannot continue its aggression, which has lasted for fifteen months, without facing a warning response to stop this aggression and withdraw from the occupied Lebanese territories.

This response is a legitimate defensive action, and the responsible parties must put an end to the Israeli-American aggression against Lebanon.
