NATO put military assets in Greenland. Even Dopey Don realised he wasn't going to just walk in & plant a flag... and there was no oil or cash to steal. There would be dead soldiers and destroyed aircraft and boats. A hiding to nothing. He just looks like a limp dicked lame duck who ran his mouth and looks a wally for it.
His #Greenland backtrack was, I hope upon hope, first taste of his complete and utter humiliation we keenly anticipate. The implosion of what is surely the most overblown narcissist in our long sad history will be magnificent. I live for the day.

Recently Pres. Trump wildly threatened violence against #Greenland, an ally, and he made even wilder threats yesterday. Earlier he said the only thing that can stop him is his morality (something he lacks).
I want to thank stock and bond investors because yesterday they had a sell-off that scared Trump into talking more sanely today, even reversing himself. The New York Times headline is: "Trump Drops Tariff Threat Over Greenland."

It’s interesting to me that Trump has so quickly backed off on the threat of using force in Greenland. Someone talked him off the ledge. Maybe the massing European troops raised the stakes enough for his advisors to hesitate. Maybe the generals said they would not attack a NATO member nation (a clearly illegal order). Maybe he never had military support at all, and was talking out of his ass all along. Who knows? The point is, they called his bluff, and he folded like wet napkin. I think people need to learn from this. Calling Trump’s bluffs works, especially when you team up with other communities to call his bluff together.
